The cottage benefits from a Kodak quality power inverter with lithium batteries to overcome the load shedding hours and also has a gas hob, gas oven, gas kettle with even the hot water geysers being gas operated.
The cottage is serviced daily.
A spacious and secluded garden with selected garden furniture, allows for relaxing at your leisure, with the Sterkspruit river just a stone's throw away which offers an alternative to the swimming pool and as well as tubing for those in the mood.
The cottage itself is a double storied thatch building comprising 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite), comfortably accommodating up to 8 persons. It also has a baby carry cot. The beds have been recently upgraded to allow greater flexibility in configuration and are of extra length in 3 of the bedrooms. Electric blankets are provided on all beds.
The cottage has good quality Wi-Fi and a full bouquet of DStv is available via satellite dish. There are numerous other features like the pure water tap and the popular ice making machine. The built in braai is also positioned under the isintingu and clear awning.

The cottage is close to all amenities, including a shop, pub and restaurant, the famous Champagne Sports golf course, Cedarwood shopping complex, various coffee and breakfast shops as well as the local brewery. Mount Champagne itself offers tennis, fishing, canoeing and a delightful swimming pool area all within 200m of the cottage.
Extensive walks abound with organised hikes, horse riding and helicopter flips into the mountains, available ex Dragon Peaks resort just 1 km away. The renowned Drakensberg Boys Choir School borders the property and the sound of their weekly concerts echo across the valley. Mount biking is also popular in the area.
Access to the property is via tarred roads, right to the front door.
