Situated on a beef farm in Mooi River in KwaZulu Natal, Kerriston Country House overlooks the Giants Castle Mountains, and has exquisite views surrounding the entire property.
There are 7 luxury rooms with the 8th room being our main suite or honeymoon suite with its own private lounge and TV. Each room boasts a gas fireplace, ceiling fan, en suite bathrooms, coffee and tea stations, Wi-Fi, doors that open onto the veranda and towels and linen that are provided. We have a spacious communal lounge with a fire place and big flat screen TV that leads into the beautiful dining room with its 16 seater antique dining room table. Although we are a B and B and provide a continental breakfast which is included in the rate, we are open to self-catering options should the guests require it, as we have a fully stocked kitchen. Also, we are able to cater for other meals should our guests prefer not to cook their own food.

We sell wines, olive oil and preserves manufactured by our sister farm in Franschoek in the Western Cape, and do wine and olive oil tasting at the request of the guests.
The Midlands Meander is a huge attraction here in the Midlands, so there are endless options for all ages in terms of restaurants and entertainment.
We are close to the berg for guests to visit the mountains if they wish, and close to Pietermaritzburg should they wish to do more city like things.
We have a couple golf courses in close proximity for the golfers, and many dams for those keen on fishing.
